Meaning: not very, not much~

How to use the:
あまり + Verb-ないform
あまり + Noun + じゃない/ではない
あまり + いadj (－い) + くない
あまり + なadj + じゃない/ではない

Explain:
「あまり」 is an adverb that indicates the degree. When function as modifiers for adjectives, they are placed before the adjectives.
「あまり」 is an adverb that indicates the degree. When the function modifies the verb, they are placed before the verb

Example sentences:
1, 私の日本語はあまり上手ではありません。
Watashi no nihongo wa amari jōzude wa arimasen.
My Japanese is not very good.

2, 今日の天気はあまり寒くないです。
Kyō no tenki wa amari samukunaidesu.
The weather today is not very cold.

3, 英語あまりが分かりません。
Eigo amari ga wakarimasen.
I don’t understand much English.
